This year we’re running our Record Store Day Quiz online, here’s how to take part.
Tomorrow would normally be Record Store Day, one of our busiest days of the year. With our shop closed we’re taking our big annual music quiz online!
Tomorrow at 7.30pm we’ll be posting a link on our homepage and Facebook event page which you can use to access the live stream. You do not need a password or to download any software onto your computer. You can choose to have your webcam (if you have one) on so we can see you, or you can play along without this.
Our wonderful quiz master and musical font of knowledge Doug Alldred will be hosting proceedings and the Quiz itself will start at 8PM, giving us 30mins to help anyone struggling to make the technology work.
You may create a household team and we strongly recommend you do as we will be asking questions about all the eras and genres. There are some exciting prizes available for the winners!
It’s completely free to take part, however if you would like to make a donation we will be posting a link to our new Crowdfunding campaign, where the Solent LEP has kindly agreed to match whatever we can raise in donations. So anything you can give will be doubled! This support will go directly towards the launch of our brand new programme for young people, providing opportunities, training and support for under 25’s.
