Ventnor Fringe 2018 | Participant Applications

This form is for all main participant applications (whether ticketed or unticketed events) for the Ventnor Fringe 2018. 

Please note, this form is NOT applicable for the following:

• Free Fringe Applications (bars & pop-up spaces)  Please use the separate form available soon to apply to take part in the Free Fringe

• Make sure you’ve read through our Participant Guide which has lots of FAQ's and general advice for participants as well as a full list of our terms & conditions.

• Remember the information you provide here does not have to be the final product, we understand you may still be working on your event or performance.  Once your application has been approved you will be sent account details & links to your dashboard allowing you to view progress of an application, and provide further information such as programme/web listing information and ticketing details. 

• Please remember that the costs incurred in taking part in the Ventnor Fringe are taken at your own risk, this includes the hire of venue, and equipment or technical requirements that are not part of standard venue packages and costs of any artists/staff you may need to use.

• Though the Fringe as an entity advertises through a number of channels in different media including online and print - it is ultimately down to individual artists and companies to promote their own shows.  A selection of resources and guidance on how to promote your show is available in the Participants Guidance section of our site.

• Ventnor Fringe will charge a fee of £1.00 per ticket sold to participants, meaning there will be no booking fees charged to the public. This is used to cover all box office costs, including card transaction costs, ticketing and box office software. All remaining income is paid directly to the Artist.

  • Payment will be made to artists by BACS or cheque within six weeks of the Festival ending; though in most cases payment is made within three weeks. After the festival you will recieve a sales summary for each of your events, and an final Event Run Summary will be included with your settlement payment.  This report will indicate of any outstanding fees or undpaid invoices, of which will be deducted from your final box office settlement payment.

  • If Artists do not supply the correct bank account details then the Ventnor Fringe cannot be responsible for any issues that may occur during the settlement period, participants are reminded to supply their account details ASAP to ensure payment can be made promptly.

• All application and venue hire fees are non-refundable.  You are required to pay securely in full application fees upon submission of this form, and venue fees in advance of the Fringe to secure your venue hire.  Full details of our fees and policies can be found in our Participants Guidance section.

• Application forms must be received by no later than 19th May 2018. Forms received after this deadline may incur extra charges or be refused.
