Join us in the Arena, our Big Top tent, this Autumn for a brand new show created by the award winning Pirates of the Carabina

On the Shoulders is an aerial & acrobatic circus show celebrating female solidarity and intergenerational connection in the face of all that we hold.

Beautiful, surprising and unlike anything else you’ll see this year. Three multi-skilled performers blend aerial, circus, dance, puppetry, verbatim theatre and live music, performed in, on and around a spectacular giant puppet.

On The Shoulders brings humour and beauty to the real stories of women living in the South West, exploring our collective strength and intergenerational connection.

A production by Pirates of the Carabina, the award-winning creators of Flown and Pirate Taxi. Presented as part of Can You Hear Us? a six week island-wide celebration created in collaboration with Creative Island. Supported by Arts Council England.
