Jar of Joy with Studio Wren – Art Workshop
Throughout works of children’s literature from classics such as ‘The BFG’ to modern marvels like ‘In the Jar of Happiness’, jars have been used as symbols of preservation and safekeeping where precious, sometimes inanimate, things are stowed away by protagonists to remember, admire and inspire. In this creative and colour packed collage workshop children will fill a jar frame with shapes, textures and crafty treasures that bring them feelings of happiness and delight, perhaps the shape of a birthday balloon that sparks memories of a family celebration or a glittery star that inspires ambitions of exploring space. No matter the content, mini makers will leave the workshop with their very own jar of joy.
