Ever since opening our premises in Ventnor’s old Post Office, we wanted to create a vibrant, creative community space. A place to socialise and be entertained but also a workplace from where our team could plan our many different activities, from Ventnor Fringe to Brave Island.
In recent years we’ve seen an increase in others using the bar as a place to work, with a diverse range of people looking for a central place to work from and meet others. But we know sometimes the bar can become busy and distracting so with this mind we’ve been exploring the possibility of providing dedicated co-working facilities in the town. The aim is to provide a more affordable and sociable option then renting a private office, but somewhere more focused and practical than a cafe or bar. This Autumn we’re very excited to be taking this a step forward with the launch of a pilot in our existing building.
We’ve been working to convert the rear rooms at the Exchange into a mini co-working space, which we hope to open in November 2022.
Work from Ventnor Exchange
Ventnor Exchange offers a unique working environment. A relaxing but stimulating space in the heart of town, which combines a workspace with a bar, record store and venue. Anyone will be welcome to continue making use of the bar but for those who would like a more dedicated workspace we will now be able to offer ready-to-use hot desks and fixed desks in our new office suite on flexible, monthly contracts so you can concentrate on the things that matter.
Alongside your own desk space you’ll be able to make use of our Meeting Room as a dedicated break out space with a more laid back feel, or book whenever you need to host clients.
We’re currently accepting expressions of interest from those who’d be interested in a space, and hope to confirm prices and an opening date in the coming weeks.
