Access

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the events we put on and take part in our activities. If you have any specific enquiries you can contact us.

Steps

There are two small steps to enter the building from the road, which is completely step free once inside.

Seating

Seating is not normally allocated for shows at the Ventnor Exchange, so if you require space for a wheelchair or feel you need to be on the front row to hear the performance please let us know when you book and we’ll reserve the space.

Toilets

Unfortunately we don’t currently have disabled toilet facilities. However, there is a disabled toilet in St. Catherine’s Church where we often host larger shows/concerts.

Carers/Assistants

We’re happy to provide free tickets to carers/assistants. Please let us know when you book and we’ll issue a complimentary ticket.

Relaxed Performances

Theatre’s can sometimes be formal places and we understand that doesn’t suit everyone. Each year we programme a number of ‘relaxed performances’ for audiences who may find it difficult to be seated for the duration of a performance. This might include someone with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sensory or communication disorder or learning disability.

BSL Performances/ Captioning

Each year we host some performances with BSL (British Sign Language) interpretation or captioning. These performances will be clearly advertised and we welcome feedback feedback from audiences who find this useful as it is an area we are looking to expand on.
